SKILLED LABORER

At Let's Go Build, we are committed to serving our communities through acts of love and service, specifically in renovating and remodeling homes for widows and others in need. Currently, we are seeking skilled male tradesmen to volunteer for such renovations. We believe that the work of restoring these homes is a direct reflection of the words of Moses/Moshe, who instructed us to care for the vulnerable in our communities.

Our approach is one of faith and trust in Yah’s provision. We self-fund this work, believing that as we step out in obedience, He will supply all that is needed. Thus far, Yah has faithfully provided resources, tools, and the right team. To sustain our mission, we ask volunteers to cover their travel costs to and from the work site. In return, we will provide meals, tools, and rustic lodging.  Any changes to this framework will be communicated as needed.

To ensure a successful and meaningful experience, we ask that all prospective volunteers attend our monthly meetings. These gatherings serve as preparation for upcoming projects, providing essential training, team building, and prayerful unity. We invite skilled tradesmen to join us in this vital mission to serve those in need and build not just houses, but also the Kingdom of Yah.

WHAT CAN I DO NOW?

While the project is still a few months away, there are several things you can do in the interim to prepare:

1. Submit Your Application: If you feel called to volunteer, we encourage you to apply early. Be sure to share any skills or experience you have.

2. Spread the Word: If you know others who might be interested in volunteering, encourage them to apply as well. We’re looking for a diverse group of passionate individuals who are ready to serve.

3. Prepare Your Skills: For skilled volunteers, now is the time to refresh your skills or even learn new ones. We’ll need experienced professionals in various trades, but we also welcome those willing to learn and grow through the experience. Unskilled volunteers can also contribute in meaningful ways through painting, cleaning, demolition, and assisting with other tasks.

4. Pray and Reflect: As we prepare for this powerful week of service, we encourage you to spend time in prayer, and reflecting on the heart of the mission. This project is not only about physical renovation, but also about restoring dignity and honoring elders in our community. Ask God to prepare your heart and guide you in this service.

We are looking forward to an incredible week of service, and we invite you to be a part of this transformative experience. Together, we can honor the legacy of Juneteenth by rebuilding homes and lives, one project at a time.
